Announcement was made during a.if_alana idea fest in Brasília and includes funding for research, strengthening public policies and cultural transformation through 2040

Alana has announced a BRL 300 million investment dedicated to menstrual health, with a special focus on pelvic pain and endometriosis. The commitment, unprecedented in Brazilian philanthropy, will allocate the full amount over the next 14 years to support research, strengthen public policies and promote cultural change around the issue.

The initiative seeks to expand knowledge about conditions that affect millions of girls and women, accelerate access to diagnosis and treatment, and strengthen prevention, care and comprehensive protection efforts. The investment was announced on International Menstrual Dignity Day (May 28), during a.if_alana idea fest, held in Brasília.
