Nature<\/a> brings benefits to all milestones of child development. It favors the creation of affectionate bonds and is the starting point for a society capable of assuming sustainable attitudes. The program carries out actions that promote the direct connection between childhood and nature, especially in the urban context. It invests in advocacy<\/em> actions, disseminating content, pointing the way and influencing public policies that favor this connection in the urban environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children and Nature defends a “close by nature”, that which can be accessed on a daily basis, in all of the child’s living spaces. Whether in schoolyards, streets, parks, squares, or remote areas, with less human interference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work with strategies and actions that involve civil society, public authorities and different organizations, for the existence of more children in Nature and more Nature for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLIMATE AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Its actions are based on the concept of climate and socio-environmental justice. Thus, it seeks to reduce social and economic asymmetries resulting from the environmental context, for children from different groups and territories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

URBAN AND SOCIAL INNOVATION<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It invests in more environmentally preserved, accessible, and child-friendly cities. It also encourages school spaces that are greener, more challenging, and more connected to their territories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHANGING THE OUTLOOK ON NATURE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nature<\/a> is essential to health and good living. Thus, the program raises awareness about the importance of experiencing the freedom and autonomy of playing, through the body in contact with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
